2022年に続き、2023年8月開催のStory Telling Camp Canada

カナダ・アルバータ大平原のサマーキャンプ

広大なカナダでも大平原とロッキー山脈の織りなす息を飲む大自然の中

その大平原のど真ん中にたつエコキャビンを舞台に

日本の生徒の脳細胞が思いっきり開花するキャンプです。

「こんなにも生徒の脳が変わるなんて！」と指導した私やロバートも目をみはる驚きの成果でした。

現在まで、仮申込・お問い合わせ・ご相談などに対応し、最終的には3月中旬を目処に参加者決定の予定です。

Post-Civilization Survival Story

Written after learning about civilizations; the features of civilizations, the advantages and disadvantages, how they fail

Hay Bales for Food by K. K.

We were living in the countryside when a new coronavirus strain broke out and a lot of people died. I was staying in a cabin with Machiko and Robert, my online English teachers, and N. and K., from the same English class. We could see the horizon wherever we looked.

We ate only basil that Machiko grew for five days, and we were very hungry. We got food for selling grass. We cut the grass and rolled into hay bales. Machiko and Robert’s cats Kali and Tika quietly looked for cows by smelling them. We found farmers from the cows that Kali and Tika found. We sold hay bales to farmers that the cats found near and far.

Even if we didn’t meet people for a long time, the hay bales got bigger as we rolled them. We could sell big hay bales at a high price, and small hay bales at a low price. Sometimes, we needed vegetables and fruit. We got them in exchange for meat that we got from selling hay bales. Every farmer we met bought our hay bales.

One day, a farmer refused to buy one of our hay bales; but there was a fat, delicious-looking cow. When the farmer, Machiko and Robert were laughing and making small talk, I hid the delicious-looking cow behind a very big hay bale. We got the fat cow. Machiko and Robert made jumbo steak, and we all ate together.

Since then, when a farmer refuses to buy our hay bales, we hide the most delicious-looking cow in that farm behind hay bales.
