Japanese diet reduces belly fat.
-
Science gives credit to how Japanese eat. Weight loss tips, backed by science, explain why the obesity rate is low in Japan.
One of the tips is: Cut out soda!
“Avoid all sugary drinks, as they provide ’empty calories’ that don’t fill you up. The sugar may uniquely act on the liver to produce belly fat.” (TIME)
Japanese drink green tea with meals. Both the young and old drink green tea during or after meals. Why? One reason could be that soda does not go along well with Japanese food. Japanese do not choose soda while eating a meal. The appropriate amount of sugar required in Japanese cooking may send a satisfying signal to the brain. And the brain, in turn, may send a feedback signal to us, “OK, you don’t need any more sugar to feel satisfied.”
Once you are accustomed to the taste of Japanese food, I bet that you’ll start wondering why you need soda on the dinner table.
As a consequence, your liver would stop producing belly fat.
