三日連続ラーメンの話題となってしまいましたが、今日は「ラーメンデート」で「男性が気を付けなければいけない６つのこと」についてJapan Todayより抜粋してお伝えいたします。
"Japanese women reveal six pitfalls to watch out for on your ramen date"
（日本人女性が明かしたラーメンデートで気をつけるべき６つの落とし穴）
*reveal: （秘密、事実などを）明かす、暴露する
*pitfall(s): 落とし穴
*watch out for: ～に用心する
6. A guy who takes you to a ramen restaurant, sees that it’s closed, and doesn’t fess up to screwing up
*fess up: 誤りを認める
*screw up: 台無しにする
5. A person who won’t stop looking at his smartphone while he’s eating
*while: 接続詞で、「～している間に」。whileは、その他「～である一方」という意味の接続詞でもあります（←TOEIC®頻出） eg. While he admits the mistake, he won't do anything about it.（彼は自身のミスを認めているものの、それについて何もしようとしない）
4. A date who takes you to a restaurant with massive portions
*date: この場合のdateは「デート」自体のことではなく「デートの相手」の意味。
*massive: 大量の
*portion(s): ここでは「（食事の）一人前；一盛り」
3. A dude who doesn’t just order ramen, but adds sides of gyoza and rice
*dude: やつ；野郎；人（男性を呼ぶ時に使う）
2. A man who gets really detailed with the toppings and seasonings in his order
*detailed: 詳細な
*seasonings: 調味料；味を添えるもの
1. Someone who has to blog about the ramen he just ate
*blog about ~: ～についてブログする。このように"blog"は動詞としても使えます
